A place steeped in history
Our hotel – known as "Seehüter" – has been a family-run business since 1776. Only in 1924 the rustic farmhouse was rebuilt and became a typical Tirolean inn with guest beds run by great-grandmother Johanna and her nine children with much passion and love until 1951. Later the house was modernized by Hilda and Thomas Plattner with great efforts and a high level of commitment before Siegfried und Monika became the new hotel owners in 1984. A story of success! Today, Hotel Seerose in Oetz - Ötztal Valley makes a wonderful holiday destination and a superb base for memorable skiing adventures, peak conquests and all kinds of sporty activities. The hotel also features a homey terrace for jovial hours among friends – overlooking the natural jewel of lake Piburger See amidst Tirol's awe-inspiring mountain scenery.
