Imposing glaciers, colorful larch forests and idyllic lakes – the Ötztal offers a variety of impressions and, as Austria's third largest nature park, is an important visitor magnet. The largest glacier areas in the country (17.5%), impressive nature and exciting archaeology can be found on over 510 km². The Naturpark Ötztal offers up to 18 themed hikes per week, individual events and an extensive children's program.

The Naturepark Haus in Längenfeld is an information and competence center and presents a multimedia exhibition on Ötztal's nature on almost 300 m². Themed trails on archaeology, glaciology or the stone pine forest are open to all explorers – just have a look.
